Best Thai food we have had in a long time. Fresh, homegrown, not like commercial restaurants. Fantastic food and service. Great sauces as well!

Bomb food here I recommend ordering the mala noodles one of the bombast foods I’ve had will be back for this dish and to try others

Ran into this tent during a visit to Desert Hills, was intrigued by their unique taco offerings. They offer Thai-inspired tacos like Tom Yum, which I had to try. I was also curious that their menu did not have prices listed, and frankly I was taken aback when an order of taco and their green sauce (which came highly recommended, according to their menu) came up to 20 bucks. But I digress, I was already committed to try their food. Firstly, the food was prepared individually, one batch at a time. The meats were already cooked, only needed a quick sear with the right seasoning. My Tom Yum taco came with generous portion of shrimp, which was seared with Tom Yum sauce, garnished with cilantro and fried shallots. The taco reminded me of an actual Tom Yum soup, which was a good point in their favour. The green sauce gave a good compliment to the taco with slow burn (my wife still felt the burn minutes after we were done eating), but not necessary to enjoy the food. So the Tom Yum taco was a great dish to try, though I still wonder if it was worth the price.

I discovered BBK78streetfood about 4yrs back whole going to Lululemon outlet at Cabazon. Now we goto the bigger food truck by Lacoste & Ralph Lauren stores by the parking lot. We love Thai food n we live in OC. We drive to Cerritos for our Thai food to quelch our Thai food cravings n BBK78 is CRAZY YUMMY! Seating is just random table thrown together here n there. You go order at the foodtruck, pay then sit down n wait for them to call your number. Nothing fancy but we love the casual park-your-butt-n-eat atmosphere. But the food is...WOW, THIS IS SERIOUSLY GOOD! It took us a few try to really put our arms around the menu but now we know we like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 but have not tried 10. Seriously, everything is superbly yummy! So much so, i'v beginning to look for empty restaurant spaces in OC to lease so i can invest in BKK78 by bringing them to irvine. Y'all best go n get your fill of BKK78 before i move them to irvine. It's THAT GOOD! I may also bring the next-door food truck of Hawaiian shaved ice with me to irvine. Go say hi to Simon...get your BKK78 Thai food AND Hawaiian shaved ice! Life does not get better than THAT AT CABAZON (or anywhere else)! Service got a 4 (⭐⭐⭐⭐)? These are food trucks! SUPER YUMMY & FUN!
